from wikiHow - The How to Manual That You Can Edit

Mmmm... Nothing beats Chocolate cake, but then you add cookies, and you are in heaven! They are ideal for birthday party's or just for a special treat. Trust me you will be in heaven.
Now, let's get on to making it...

Steps

  1. Purchase your choice of chocolate chip cookie mix.
  2. Follow the package directions but do not separate. You will need the entire mix.
  3. Use a 16" pizza pan or flat pan large enough to spread out the mix evenly and thick enough so it won't break when removed. Make sure the mixture is smooth.
  4. Place the pan in a pre-heated oven (according to package directions), and keep an eye on it. It will bake fairly quickly. When it turns a light brown color, remove the pan. Set it on a rack to cool.
  5. Decorate cookie cake with frosting, then add M & M's or other candy for added color. Decorate with "Happy Birthday" and the honoree's name.

Tips

  • Look at the cookie mix box for proper baking temperature and time.

Warnings

  • Your cookie will be hot coming out of the oven. Be careful. Use oven mitts to remove from oven.
  • WATCH OUT!!! Don't eat just yet! It will be HOT!!! Wait 30min. before eating it. You don't want to burn your tongue do you?

Things You'll Need

  • Chocolate chip cookie mix
  • 16" round pizza pan
  • Cake decorations (frosting, candy, etc.)
  • Oven mitts.
